Congrats Mr. Cooper!
Congrats to Mr. Cooper who was recognized for his contribution to the martial arts and inducted into the IFOJJ Legion of Honor. He was nominated by Mr. English and received the Bushido Award. He had no idea this was going to happen and was very surprised when his name was announced. It was fun to watch. Mr. English and Mr. Flanagan were inducted into the Legion of Honor 2005; the inaugural year.

MAU 2009 was a Blast!
Martial Arts University 2009 was a blast. Mr. English, Mr. Cooper, Mr. Flanagan and the entire Hartnett family were in attendance. For those of you that could not make it this year, now is a great time to plan for MAU 2010. Our goal is a total of 20 students/instructors to attend. If you want to set up a budget plan let us know and we will assist you.

Check out Karate International's latest Junior Black Belt in the Foster's Daily Democrat. Congratulations to Matthew Butcher on his accomplishment of earning his Junior Black Belt. His past 4 years of hard work has paid off. Keep up the great work Matt! - Mr. English
There will be no classes held this Wednesday the 10th. We will be having an open house for KI Fitness and Karate International from 5:30-7:00pm. Come and join us, and don't forget to bring a friend to hear about our program, see our facility, and watch demonstrations of the various programs we offer at KI Fitness and Karate International.
Looking forward to seeing everyone there.
Exeter downtown restaurants including: The Loaf and Ladle, 11 Water St, Pimentos; and Tavern on the River will be hosting a Chamber Choir benefit night on Tuesday, March 16, 2010 beginning at 5:30 PM. These restaurants are helping support our 8th grade singers as they raise funds to compete in the Festival Disney Performance Competition in Orlando, Florida. We have students who go to Karate International who will be participating in this. Students will be in competition from April 14 – 18, 2010. Competitors in Festival Disney include ensembles from across the United States as well as other North American countries.Participating restaurants will donate a portion of the evening sales to help our students. And our students will be serenading you as you dine. So please, come on out and support both our students and these wonderful dining establishments on Tuesday, March 16th beginning at 5:30 PM. For further information please call A. Inzenga at the Cooperative Middle School 775-8760.
Soke Michael DePasquale will be at the dojo on Friday, March 19th, 2010 offering a seminar in the techniques of Combat Yoshitsune Jujutsu. If you have not registered yet, please do so today. The cost of the seminar is $50 for Kimac members and $65 for Non-Kimac members. The seminar will run from 7:00pm - 9:30pm. Email Shawn Flanagan if you are going to attend. Cost of registration after March 12, 2009 will be $75 for all particpants - no exceptions. IFOJJ Test fees for anyone testing prior to the seminar are waived if you are attending the seminar.
Please check the lost and found in the parent viewing room for students belongings, we will be donating anything left March 1st.
