Candyland party for kids a huge success...

This past weekend Mr. Cooper and I held our Valentine’s party for the kids. For the Youth Program we held a movie day. We had the privilege of watching G-Force. For the Tots Program we held a “Candy Land” party.
These parties were enjoyed by all. I would like to thank everyone who volunteered their time and energy to these fantastic Events.

  • Tammy Tremblay for making Cookies for both parties so that the kids could decorate them and for playing the character of “Grandma Nutt” in Candy Land.
  • The Dumont Family for their help as the characters; J was Lord Licorice, Angie was Lolly, and Drake was Gloppy.
  • Bethany Bielicki for being Queen Frostine.
  • Jon Money for playing Captain Butterscotch the Candy Land Tour guide. Thank you to Mark Miller for taking pictures, Debbie Miller for supplying us with Candy and Max Miller for being “The Gumdrop Prince”.
  • Keenan McDermott for teaching kicking and helping with Board breaking and Movie setup.
  • Heather Roberson for assisting with the Movie Day cookie decorations and for clean up afterwards.
  • Last but certainly not least I’d like to thank Mr. English for coming up with the Idea of Karate Candy Land and letting me run with the idea.

With all the events that we do at KIMAC I am reminded of just how great a community we have within the Karate School and how blessed all the instructors are to be able to work with such great kids and wonderful families. Having events like this and seeing the kids excited and having fun is worth all the planning and hard work. So my last thank you is to all the Families that help make Karate International more than just a Karate School but, make it a “Home away from home”.

We will be handing out a list of events for the spring shortly!
Thank you,
Craig Wharem

Great job guys and thanks to all the families that participated. I've seen lots of photos floating around on Facebook. Craig or John, can we get some of those posted to our KIMAC Facebook Fan page?
