KI Weekly Update 10/15-10/20

Hello Everyone,
This is an exciting week for the dojo! This Saturday is our 6th annual Kicking Breast Cancer to the Curb! There are no regular classes that day as we run our Kick-a-thon. The Kick-a-thon is running from 9-10 and students will attempt to kick as many times as possible in that hour. This is an event where students solicit sponsors to raise money and 100% of proceeds go right to My Breast Cancer Support in Portsmouth, NH!
Luke and Petey's Pumpkin party is also this Saturday from 1-2:30. The cost is $5 and all proceeds will go to the Green Mountain Pug rescue! This is always a special event filled with lots of fun! Please make sure to RSVP to Mr.Wharem if you'd like to attend! Students are encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes!
Wednesday 10/24 and 10./31 we will be hosting a Women's Self-Defense class! This class is run by Mr.Miller and will provide great tips and insights for self-defense! This is geared for any woman ages 16 and above! We are asking for a suggested donation of $20 with all proceeds going to My Breast Cancer Support. Please spread the word and RSVP to Mrs.Vare if you are interested in attending!
Wednesday November 7th is our Annual Teen Awards Banquet hosted at the Ashworth by the Sea in Hampton, NH. This is the only public recognition we do for teens to celebrate their accomplishments throughout the year. Please make sure to do your best to attend. We have registration sheets in the Dojo and they need to be submitted by 10/29!
