KI Weekly Update 10/8-10/13

Hello Everyone!
Reminder that there are NO classes tomorrow due to Colombus day. Classes will run as planned Tuesday-Saturday this week!
We'd like to thank the crew who volunteered their time at Swaysey Park on Saturday during the Duck Race! With your help the event was an incredible success and Mr.Wharem received great feedback! Way to go!
The high school camping trip was a lot of fun and we're already looking forward to planning next year's trip!
Saturday October 20th from 9-10 AM will be our annual Kicking Breast Cancer to the Curb Kick-a-thon! Make sure to get your sponsor sheets this week so you can begin to collect money! All proceeds go to My Breast Cancer Support in Portsmouth.
Also on Saturday 10/20 We will be holding Luke and Petey's Pumpkin Party from 1:00-2:30. The event is $10 and all proceeds go to the Green Mountain Pug Rescue in memory of Petey the pug! Youth students come in their Halloween costumes and participate in fun themed games! This is always a highlight of the year! Please make sure to RSVP to Mr.Wharem.
Wednesday November 7th from 6-9 PM we will have our Annual Teen Awards Banquet to recognize the Teens on their accomplishments throughout the year. This is the only time we publicly recognize them for their ranks and promotions so please do your best to attend. Sign up sheets are being handed out this week, if you have questions please contact Mrs.V!
